Previously, I spent six years editing renovation, DIY, garden, and home makeover content as Apartment Therapy’s home projects director. (And before that, I edited for HGTV Magazine and This Old House Magazine.)

Aside from my writing and editing, you might have spotted me as a home improvement expert on NPR, in the Washington Post, or on live TV broadcasts.

I graduated cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S. in journalism.
